PCA's Vision
The Pine Chemicals Association (PCA) is a global association whose members create significant value by taking a natural renewable resource from pine trees and providing a reliable supply of environmentally responsible, high quality specialty chemicals and their derivatives to customers worldwide.
PCA accomplishes its Mission by:

Providing a global forum and resources for monitoring, proactively influencing, and timely responding to appropriate legislative, environmental, regulatory and safety issues. Goals:

Embrace principles of Responsible Care®.

Influence appropriate regulation to insure that they are based on sound science and factual understanding of risk, costs, and benefits.

Establish and maintain a global structure which allows PCA to respond efficiently to world industry issues.

These goals will be accomplished by:Assembling factual information and providing the appropriate structure to assist the members and represent the industry.

Increasing quantity and improving quality of pine chemicals. Goals:

Promote increased recovery of improved quality crude tall oil and crude sulfate turpentine.

Promote increased recovery and improved quality of gum rosin, gum turpentine, and wood rosin.

Enhance relationships with raw material suppliers to promote the value of pine chemicals.

These goals will be accomplished by:Sponsoring programs and providing information on pine chemical production and recovery technology.

Enhancing member commercial and global networking opportunities. Goals:

Sponsor an annual international conference. Conduct an annual business meeting.

Generate and disseminate appropriate industry information.

Provide and maintain industry technical reference publications.
