THE SPA AT PGA NATIONAL

Known worldwide as a European influenced destination spa, The Spa at PGA is a full-service spa and salon presenting more than 100 ways to indulge. And while you’ll find all of the body and beauty treatments you’d expect from a luxury spa, you’ll find plenty of surprises here, too – including treatments based on their Waters of the World mineral pools (try the Salies de Bearn with salts imported from the French Pyrenees); therapies rooted in global healing practices; exclusive services bearing names like Phytomer and Epicuren; and experiences inspired by our paradise setting – such as the Deep Cleansing Marine Facial.

POOLS

Cool off from the Florida sun with a dip in our pool or a swim. The zero-entry resort pool is a centerpiece of PGA National Resort, surrounded by every amenity you could want, like live entertainment and lounge chair service, complete with towels and refreshments. Guests of our Sports & Racquet Center and The Spa at PGA National will discover additional pools for fitness and relaxation.

With renowned tennis programs – plus all of the Tennis Pro Shop services and amenities you would expect – the PGA National Resort Racquet Club is a championship experience for tennis lovers.

RACQUET CLUB AMENITIES
Our 19 tennis courts include 12 lighted courts for night play. To hone your skills, try our daily drills, private instruction and seasonal programs, available for children and adults including our PGA Junior Tennis Camps. We’re a big player in the local Palm Beach community, hosting round robin events, South Florida local leagues and USTA adult and senior teams.

CROQUET

When you’re not hitting the fairways on one of the five legendary courses, you can always swing by the PGA greens for croquet. Reserve a private lesson on one of our five USCA tournament-certified lawns (brief instruction is included with your court fee). Crisp whites are required of all players, and resort guests are welcome to observe weekly club games and the Peyton Ballenger Invitational each spring.

GOLF SHOP

The Golf Shop at PGA National Resort & Spa has been honored with inclusion in Golf World's 2012 "100 Best Golf Shops" for its retail and service excellence. The 2,200 square foot golf shop services all golf courses on property including the Championship Golf Course that hosts the PGA Tour’s Honda Classic. Members and hotel guests will check-in here for their respective tee times, as well as find the latest in golf equipment and apparel. In the Golf Shop, guests can also attain information about our world class teaching academies: both the Dave Pelz short-game school and The David Leadbetter Academy. AREA BEACHES

WHERE IS PGA NATIONAL RESORT IN FLORIDA?

The PGA National Resort and Spa is situated next to a number of South Florida beaches and within driving distance to the South Florida PGA. A rare rock beach and vast natural beaches are just a short drive from the resort. You can watch waves crash against the rocks for a relaxing stroll and sink your toes into the sand by arranging your transportation with our concierge.

BLOWING ROCKS PRESERVE
575 S Beach Rd, Hobe Sound, FL 33455

This barrier island sanctuary is a famed shelter less than a half hour away. It's home to endangered plants and animals, including three rare sea turtle species, and impressive 50-foot sprays of saltwater that occur when the Atlantic Ocean breaks against its rocky, limestone shoreline. Visitors can take advantage of swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving off of the protected beach and explore hiking trails and an education center.

BURT REYNOLDS PARK

This facility is about a 20-minute drive on South Florida’s Intracoastal Waterway and hosts every amenity needed for the quintessential waterfront park day: boat ramps and slips, a kayak and canoe launch, picnic areas, a playground, sand volleyball and horseshoe pits. Saltwater fishing is also allowed at the park (licensing may apply).

CARLIN PARK
400 Florida A1A, Jupiter, FL 33477

In addition to Atlantic Ocean beach access just 25 minutes away, this park offers a café and picnic areas; recreation facilities, including bocce courts, sand volleyball and playground areas; and fishing (licensing may apply). Carlin Park is also home to the beautiful Seabreeze Amphitheater, an open-air, seaside venue for live entertainment.

JUNO BEACH PARK AND FISHING PIER

This Atlantic Ocean beach access point attracts surfers and anglers with its designated area for surfing and a 990-foot pier hosting a bait shop and snack bar. You’ll also find a guarded swimming area off of the beach, which makes it one of the closest beaches to PGA National Resort and Spa at a short distance of less than 20 minutes by car.

EVENT VENUES, SPORTS & RECREATION

Palm Beach County Convention Center is a 350,000-square-foot meeting space, exhibit hall and ballroom just three miles from Palm Beach International Airport in West Palm Beach and only 20 minutes from the resort. Watch a race at Palm Beach International Raceway – the Jupiter facility hosts national and local events on its drag strip, road course, kart track and mud bog – or sign up for driving school. Palm Beach Kennel Club hosts year ’round greyhound racing and simulcast with a new poker room and two restaurants in West Palm Beach. This Jupiter baseball complex at Roger Dean Stadium is the only stadium in the country that hosts two spring training and two Minor League teams: the Miami Marlins and St. Louis Cardinals in spring, plus the teams’ Single-A affiliates: the Jupiter Hammerheads and the Palm Beach Cardinals.

NIGHTLIFE

Clematis Street In downtown West Palm Beach, restaurants, bars, clubs – and a see-and-be-seen crowd – congregate along Clematis Street. Thursday evenings, listen for free concerts in Centennial Square (that’s the popular Clematis by Night concert series).
