What’s new this year at the International Conference?  Lots!

We have a great conference planned this year in Seattle that you don’t want to miss.    Several changes and additions have been made, based on your feedback and these include:

  • The consistent feedback has been the need for more networking time.  To allow more time for individual contacts and meetings we will not have a luncheon on Monday.
  • We have added a fascinating keynote speaker on Monday morning that you do not want to miss.  Herb Meyer is a former CIA officer with a very interesting world view.
  • At registration, you will be given a free “app” for your smart phone that will allow you to quickly pull up a list of all conference attendees, the conference schedule, local information and a quick link to all the presentations.  Technology rocks!
  • The Gum Rosin Committee meeting that we suspended last year will be reinstated. Alex Cunningham will chair the meeting Monday afternoon at 2:00 pm.
  • Seattle is a great international city with lots to do and many excellent restaurants.  Our hotel is downtown, close to shopping and the famous outdoor Pike market area.  Plan to come early or spend an extra day to enjoy the sights and cuisine.
  • The theme of the conference is Innovation in Pine Chemicals and we have a number of excellent papers around this theme.  The global leaders of our industry gather at our conferences so you can travel the world by showing up in Seattle this September.

I look forward to seeing you there.
