PCA Announces Appointment of New President/COO

Dr. Keramidas brings nearly 30 years of executive management and leadership with organizations working globally.  For the last 20 years, she served as chief staff executive of the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society, a global association advancing healthcare product regulatory issues worldwide.   Sherry brings an exceptional background in association management and in working with the global regulatory environment.

Sherry earned a doctorate in Neuroscience and Physiological Psychology from Purdue University and completed advanced executive management education at the Kellogg School of Management and the Haas School of Management.  She is active in the association management field and is a Fellow of the American Society of Association Executives.

Sherry traveled extensively in her executive positions and is very knowledgeable about business, regulatory processes and cultures in many different countries.  The Board recognized her as a quick learner with the ability to take PCA to the next level in adding value for our member companies and the industry.

Sherry and her husband, George, recently moved from the Washington, DC area to St. Mary’s, Georgia, just north of Fernandina Beach, FL.

Charles Morris will temporarily continue as an employee of the PCA in a reduced role to complete several critical projects and to assure a smooth transition of the association leadership.  “The Pine Chemicals Association is performing a critical role for our industry in an increasingly complex business environment," stated Morris.  "It has been a pleasure to work with the industry for the past five years and I will miss my many good friends and acquaintances.  I do plan to attend the Spring Conference this year in Austin, TX and hopefully will be able to say 'goodbye' to many of my friends there.”

The Pine Chemicals Association will maintain its offices in Fernandina Beach, FL and Amanda Young will continue in her role as Executive Director.
