MDF-Turpentine Process Admitted to the EU Innovation Center INCITE
Dear friends, business partners, MDF producers, members of authorities and members of the Pine Chemicals community,
After announcing the startup of the first worldwide MDF-Turpentine plant at the Classen site in Baruth, Classen is now equally proud to announce, that the MDF-turpentine process has reached an important milestone at the European level: INCITE, the European Commission’s Innovation Center for Industrial Transformation and Emissions, has reviewed the technology and included it in its database of innovative industrial technologies. As a result, the process developed in Baruth/Mark is now also taking center stage in the further development of European standards for the wood-based materials industry.
